The Austrian Hospice

Despite its slightly unattractive name, the Austrian Hospice is one of my favourite places in the old city of Jerusalem. I love the fact that it's a bit hidden and that you have to ring the bell and open a heavy wooden door to get in.
It has the loveliest apple strudel in the neighbourhood and a spectacular view from the roof, especially at sunset.

Summer vacation is a good time to post all those photos i didn't get a chance to share during the year.

Quiet weekend

One of the nicest things about this *never ending* winter was gathering with the family and making (or taking photos of) delicious food.
The main dish over this weekend was homemade Pelmeni.We usually buy frozen Pelmeni in the Russian delis and they taste great, but making them by yourself turns the whole process into a lovely ceremony where we chat, laugh and make jokes about the "sculptural Pelmeni abilities" of each other.

I'm waiting

for the winter to already end.

I find it difficult to post photos in a non chronological order. It feels wrong, as if i was messing up with my inner clock.
