Is there any APX left in Germany?
My mom's going on vecation there next week,
wanted to know if I should add it to the list.

Just some snaps from not so recent events: my Mom's b-day and a bbq at friend's house.Wasn't too pleased with most of the photos so I picked the ones who seemed o.k.

Anyhow, I'm just practising, so bad photos are just part of the process.

It's interesting to take a look back at some really old photos.
Some of them I find beautiful while looking at others and thinking what a crap.
Were all taken in the past 4 years during different seasnos.
They have nothing in common except from being taken in the same city.
Actually the top three are from the same place. whatever.
Why am posting them? Because I'm bored while wating for a few rolls to get back from the lab.Some ilford and tmax. Perhaps some hipshots or portraits of grandpa taking a nap,again.

Today my friend Zivit and myself were going to have some coffee when suddenly, in the middle of the sreet, we're seing this little girl taking a shit.
What a lovely scene!
I wonder where was her caring mommy hanging at that time.Damn.

Also bought a disposable camera for 15 shekels (which is about 3.50usd). Such a hilarious device,it has photos of Jerusalem and some mosaics on the front, and a photo of the Knesset on the back. The little thing has a title: "35mm One Time Use Camera with Flash".
One time use camera! yeah baby!
When my Mom saw it she said I was crazy and wasting money.
But what is 15 shekels for self entertainment ?!
Can't wait to make some one time photos!

הפעם באמת הגזמתי עם הדיבורים

.אתמול יצאתי איתה לקניות.כל הדרך ברכבת דיברנו על התכניות שלה לטיול הקרוב בחו"ל
. אם לקחת את המעיל הירוק הענק והמחמם או להתפשר על הלבן וסוודרים עבים

התעצבנו על החיילת שזרקה את הרגליים שלה על המושב ממול בלי להוריד נעליים
ודנו ארוכות בנושא כמו תמיד. היא התפלאה שלא קפאנו מהמזגן למרות שדווקא זרקתי
.קפוצ'ון לתיק, ואני הערתי שהפעם לא דפקו אותנו עם רכבת ישנה ורועשת

קנינו לי נעליים ולה תיק וכרגיל סיכמנו על מחיר, חצי מהמחיר האמיתי, שעליו נדווח

לסבתא כשהיא תשאל כמה זה עלה זה. אחרי שהתיישבנו לאכול באיזה בית קפה בקניון

:סיפרתי לה שהבנתי למה בעצם אני שונאת קניונים ובייחוד לאכול בקניונים

הרעש המונוטוני, האויר שלא מתחלף, הפקקים האנושיים ועוד מספיק סיבות קטנוניות

. שיכלו למלא עוד חצי עמוד. אז היא הבטיחה לי שלא אוכלים יותר בקניון

,הסתובבנו בזארה וצחקנו על בגדים בעלי פרופורציות מוזרות מעיל שנראה כמו שמיכת פוך

.שלא מכסה את פופיק ושמלות שבקלות יכלו לשמש ככותנות לילה

, היא אמרה לי שאם היה לה מלא כסף, היא בהחלט הייתה עושה פה קניות

.לפחות יש ממה לבחור
בחנות אחרת היא מצאה מכנסיים, משהו כמו 3/4, בצבע ורוד עתיק עם כל מיני פאצ'ים
, מאגניבים כאלה. היא קצת התבאסה שהם מתקמטים מתחת לתחת, אמרתי לה עזבי
. לא רואים את זה כשאת הולכת, וחוץ מזה אצלי כל המכנסיים ככה, אז לא נורא
.לפני חודש היה לה יומולדת, המשפוחה התאספה כרגיל והגיע תורי לנאום

.אחרי שני משפטים וחצי נתקעו לי המילים בגרון, ככה זה כשנזכרים בדברים מהעבר

המבט שלי התמקד באיזה כתם על המפה הלבנה. דקת מחנק רועמת ובהייה בכתם לא עזרו

שחררתי אויר והודעתי שברחו לי המילים. כולם צחקו, אמרו שהכל בסדר ועזרו לי להשלים
. משפט מסכם. אני יודעת שהיא הבינה לבד את מה שלא הצלחתי לומר, כזאת היא, כל יודעת

הכי כיף בעולם להצחיק אותה. היא נקרעת מצחוק, ואז אני חוזרת על מה שסיפרתי שוב רק בצורה דרמטית יותר כדי לראות אותה מתפקעת שוב.

כמה נדוש להגיד שאמא יש רק אחת, ושלי, היא הכי מדהימה בעולם.

האם מישהו מוכן להסביר לי למה לעזאזל המחשב או מי שלא עושה את זה מסדר לי את הטקסט

?על דעת עצמו, וזה אחרי ששעתיים עסקתי בהזזת נקודות עקשניות מתחילת המשפט לסופו

למה נפערים מרווחי ענק בין השורות בלי לשאול אותי?

? למה הפריויו משקר לי ומראה שהטקסט נראה באמת איך שסידרתי אותו

לחינם אימצתי את אזניי בשיעוריי טיפוגרפיה?!

I guess cleaning up my room once in a while might bring some surprising results aside from a huge bag of trash. Found these old negatives and realized that this is the first bw roll I've ever shot, developed and printed by myself.Damn,highschool was so long ago.Nowdays I regret for not staying in touch with certain teachers, could really use the darkroom.

These two were taken at the train station on my way to college, what I like so much about them is the vibrant colors and the graphic characteristics of the shapes. It's the kodak profoto with zero photoshop, just don't like messing with it when it's not truly necessary.

and this was on the way back, not on the same day though. Sadly the photo doesn't emphasize how big is his belly and how small is that window.

Grandpa is just a wonderful model, he just seems to be in the right place at the right light.
Yet the other day when I was taking photos of him and grandma he was ranting that I was wasting film:)

and that's his little farm...kidding.

kinda tired.had a fun evening with my friends today, hope the film won't get screwed up this time.

Straight from the hip

So after reading Chris' street photography article I ran out to attack the people on the streets.

These are my first attemps in shooting from the hip.

I didn't upload the ones that I screwed up. Because they're way too screwed up.

There's one with my finger in the center of the frame. Don't ask.

It's so much fun being a spy,but it's also hard sometimes avoiding people noticing me.

The people in my town seem to be always alertive. They look at me at the wrong moments.

Damn. Well,it's all about practicing I guess.

I think he noticed me,but hey,I walk pretty fast.
